Who We Help

EDS-Friendly Chiropractic Care

Hypermobility Support

Gentle, low-force chiropractic for people with Ehlers-Danlos Syndrome (EDS) and hypermobility.

If you have EDS or you’re hypermobile, you already know the problem:

Your joints can move “too much,” your muscles stay on high alert trying to hold you together, and your body can feel unstable, tight, and painful all at the same time.

Most EDS patients don’t want aggressive adjustments. You want someone who gets it. Our clinic uses gentle low-force chiropractic adjustments to help support nervous system function and structural balance while minimizing excessive force on hypermobile joints.

Our approach is different
(and usually a better fit)

We focus on gentle, low-force techniques and a “less is more” strategy.
That may include:
  • Upper cervical care (precise, gentle, no twisting)
  • Activator Method (low-force instrument adjustments)
  • Supportive therapies when appropriate (laser, SoftWave, rehab)

For hypermobile bodies, the goal is not “move it more.”

The goal is stability, calm, and better function.

What to expect at your first visit

EDS patients hate surprises. Here’s what we do:
1. We Listen First
2. We Assess Gently
3. We Keep it Light
4. We Re-check Often

You’ll always know what we’re doing and why.

We don’t claim to “treat” EDS. It’s a connective tissue condition.

What we can do is provide gentle care that many hypermobile patients use to support:

If something is outside our scope, we’ll tell you straight.

Common questions

Do you crack/twist people with EDS?

No. We use gentle, low-force methods and avoid aggressive techniques.

I’m scared of getting worse after an adjustment.

That’s common with EDS. We start light, re-check often, and build slowly based on how your body responds.

We don’t treat those conditions directly. But many EDS patients use gentle chiropractic + nervous system support as part of a broader care team.

How many visits will I need?

EDS care is usually about stability and management over time, not a quick “one and done.” We’ll recommend a plan after we see how your body responds.
