Several years ago I was in a car accident that caused severe trauma to my cervical spine and I began experiencing some extreme neurological problems. The list of symptoms included vertigo, nausea, migraines, lack of concentration, slurred speech, stuttering, and difficulty recalling words and events. These symptoms would come and go as I visited another chiropractor. Recently I had another minor injury to my neck and this seemed to be a catalyst in bringing my symptoms back with a vengeance. I called Dr. James Beadle in the evening, literally in tears, just before his office was to close. He said he could see me immediately. Upon arrival I was experiencing heart palpitations, shortness of breath, and felt like I was constantly on the verge of blacking out. I thought for sure that I had a brain tumor and that a chiropractor might not be able to help.

Dr. Beadle was (and still is) incredible. He took a thorough history and seemed genuinely concerned. He performed several diagnostic tests and took a few digital x-rays. He put my mind at ease by informing me that this indeed was something chiropractic treatment could help and took the time to explain to me exactly what was happening and why I was feeling the way I was. He had me sit down and relax while he reviewed the x-rays. He explained that the rotation in a normal, healthy cervical spine should be less than .2 degrees in either direction. My rotation was over 18 degrees to the left, while my head was rotated 6 degrees to the right. It was the worst rotation he’d personally ever seen and was surprised I hadn’t blacked out already. This kind of rotation severely limits the flow of blood and oxygen to the brain, as well as interfering with the nerves running through the spine.

It was a HUGE relief to know what the problem was! After taking careful measurements he adjusted my upper cervical spine with a machine that performs with extreme precision. There was absolutely no guess work involved in what he did. There is no “cracking and popping” with the technique of chiropractic care that Dr. Beadle uses; it is completely non-evasive. I began feeling some relief almost immediately following the adjustment. I had remarked to a friend just the day before that my brain literally felt like it was starving and couldn’t breathe. After the adjustment it felt like blood was flowing to my brain again. I left Dr. Beadle’s office with great confidence that I will not be stuck dealing with these terrible symptoms forever. I know this is cliche, but I really do feel better than I have felt in a very, very long time.

Dr. James Beadle is a very gifted chiropractor. He is genuinely concerned for the well-being of his patients and goes above and beyond what is expected to ensure that they are getting the very best care he can provide. He has wonderful bedside manner and is both professional and personable. I have seen other types chiropractors, and while they may offer some relief, I strongly believe that you will not receive optimal care from any other form of chiropractic treatment besides that which Dr. Beadle uses. I insist that anyone I know who has pain or symptoms that can be helped with chiropractic treatment see Dr. Beadle.
